Our joints are responsible for the movement of our limbs. They are pretty important little structures within the body, yet they can cause us the most grief, aches and pains, annoyances and niggles especially as we age.

WHY ?

When we age our joint movement becomes stiffer and less flexible because we lose the lubricating fluid inside of our joints. Our cartilage becomes thinner and our ligaments tend to shorten and lose flexibility which can make our joints feel stiff and immobile.

 

That lubrication or technically termed ‘synovial fluid’ is so important and necessary for normal joint functional and mobility as it flushes the joints with nutrients, softens the blow of weight bearing activity and makes movement smoother and easier.
